GCSE Exam 2025 'Gathering' Andy Goldsworthy - Gathering materials at the location of the Artwork

 

Andy Goldsworthy born 1956 is a Sculptor who makes his Art mostly in location and then photographs it as a record of what he has made. Often the Artwork lasts only a short while. It is a kind of Street Art. Initially as an Artist he only exhibited large photographs of his sculptures he had made in location.

Keith Haring was very inspired by the line drawing graffiti and street art he saw as he travelled on the New York Subway to and from Art College.
