Edexcel A2 Art Exam 2016 Truth Fantasy And Fiction - Patrick Demazeau The Four Seasons of Vivaldi

patrick demazeau The Four Seasons of Vivaldi

Patrick Demazeau set up this surreal installation in 2001 an impossible orchestra, The photos of the installation by a rural road in Belgium spawned an strange urban myth based on the top photo as it circulated on social media. The Urban Myth told of a Polish Wedding Party with chairs laid out that was abandoned, interupted by the outbreak of World War Two in 1939. The chairs lay forgotten with the trees growing through them and the seats repainted each year as an evolving memorial. Great story, but just a story just a myth
